In addition to teaching people how to repair, we also ship replacement parts and repair tools to customers all over the world.

Job Description

As an Inventory Associate, you’ll be responsible for handling, preparing, and organizing incoming inventory. This is a fast-paced job and Inventory Associates spend their day on a wide range of tasks, including testing parts, labeling, and packaging products into repair kits.

As part of this position, you will assist other members of the operations team in maintaining and utilizing proper inventory management practices throughout the warehouse. Warehouse experience is a plus—but no experience is necessary. We’re happy to train the right candidate. The ability to learn quickly and remember details is required. Integrity, reliability, respect for your fellow team members, and attention to detail are also a must. iFixit offers lots of perks to its employees, as well—like regular, yummy company meals cooked by our in-house chef.

This position is located at our San Luis Obispo headquarters. We are looking to fill a position effective immediately, working between 20-40 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible—though we do require any shift to be at least 3 hours, and scheduled between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday.
